District jumped into an early lead by as many as 18 points in the first half with Billy Kim and Brandon Berry leading the way with a combined 22 points and kept the Wolves at bay throughout much of the second half between 10-15 points lead. Then in the last 4 minutes of the game, Wolves made it a game and traded big baskets after basket with the 6-time Champion for the next 3 minutes or so then able to cut the lead with 2 points with a little over a minute left and had 2 chances to either tie or hit a go-ahead basket. The Wolves able to force a 5 seconds violation to set up a game tying or a 3 pointer to win the game. Fami who led all scorers 31 points and clearly the best player on the court shook up his opponent with a baseline drive and was left alone to send the game in overtime, but the ball slipped off his hands as he tried to lay it up as time expired. Final score 72-70 with Billy Kim was named the MVP.

MEN’S OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 

Then in the 5’11U Championship game, M-Zone controlled the whole game with much force and steady diet of precise shooting from long range led by Uugaa who led all scorers with 7 3-pointers to tally 28 points and the MVP trophy unanimously. Decepticons who again lost the championships for the 5thtime in the 5’11U division. They just couldn’t find the rhythm they needed to overcome their opponents and the fatigue set in as they found themselves with only 5 players against the formidable squad of M-Zone. Final score 68-57 with Uugaderne Erdenetsogt.
