Flight came out the game fast and build a 10 point lead but that’s all they could muster as District Bullets took full command the rest of the game and never look back.

7th seed, Hero 64 3rd seed, Third World 51

(SEMIFINAL GAME 2) 

PLAYER OF THE GAME- Margad Choijilsuren of Hero

Third World could not shake off the late start as they fell behind early in double digits and the closest they could get is nine points and Hero finished them up to advance in the championship game.

5th seed, District Bullets 78 2OT 7th seed, Hero76 (CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER- Joe “The Big Fundamentals” Fontenot of District Bullets

This game was a battle of nutrition as both teams throwing haymakers after the other in the last 5 minutes of the regulation that continues all the way to the 2 overtimes. Joe “The Big Fundamentals” Fontenot” was not going to deny as he stamped himself the most dominant player ever played in the FABA Asian American League. In one point he scored 10 consecutive bank shots in the block. He was unstoppable and an immovable force around the rim. He had plenty of help from his teammates specially in the defensive end. Not to be outdone Margad “The Kid” Choijilsuren showed his offensive repertoire that District Bullets gave him what he can handle and sure did this Kid showed up and finished with 28 points with his forays to the basket. “A STAR IS BORN” He is part of the Mongolian National Team who competed on the just concluded FIBA Asian Qualifying Tournament. 

Joe “The Big Fundamentals” Fontenot” was named unanimously the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER with 40 points.

It’s the District (DC ROK) 9th straight Championship that ties the Justin Baker/Scott Yun led District Bullets 9th peat Championship. It’s their 4 peat after 5th peat they had in the past and could have their 9th peat as well if they didn’t take a break between those peats. DOMINANT AS EVER!
